From the West Coast of Ireland, Dan Astro is producer, dj and musician. A passion for both acoustic and electronic music, he is influenced by many different styles and sounds. Co-founder of Backroads Records, Dan has played at festivals and venues across Ireland, mixing groovy beats, deep bass and light melodies, its all about the blend.
Hot Bouzouki Summer is a high-energy band delivering a sun-soaked blend of psychedelic Greek bouzouki, Irish trad, and 90s club rhythms, featuring Dan Beggan, Aindrias De Staic, Fez and Dave Hippel. Formed in a West of Ireland vintage shop, the band rides the waves between tradition and dancefloor. It’s a foot-stomping celebration of the summer spirit, designed to make you move.
